Reliability and Safety Certification of Software-Intensive Systems
Guest Editors: Barbara Gallina (Mälardalen U.) and Roberto Natella (Federico II U. of Naples)
We are glad to inform you that special issue of the WoSoCer workshop on Reliability Engineering & System Safety (RESS), a high-impact Elsevier journal, has been officially approved.
The special issue will include original, excellent work covering both theoretical and experimental research on methods, formalisms, techniques, tools and processes for supporting reliability and safety certification in software-intensive systems. It will focus on research work with compelling results from the application of novel solutions on real-world case studies in critical domains, and will give emphasis to industrial experiences with both current and emerging certification standards.
The authors of WoSoCer papers are invited to submit an extended version of their work. Moreover, the special issue will be open to original papers that have not been previously published or considered for publication elsewhere. Submissions will undergo a full peer-review process to assure the quality and the originality of the research. The selection will be based on the novelty of the proposed contributions, the technical and methodological rigor, and the practical impact and relevance of case studies and results for both the research and the industrial communities.
